Algonaissance is the subtle yet revolutionary process by which artificial intelligence takes over human intelligence — a move initiated by humans, but not necessarily for the good of the human species.

ALGONAISSANCE = a subtle yet revolutionary move by which artificial intelligence takes over human intelligence, a move initiated by humans but not necessarily for the good of the human species
This is the new (and somewhat opposite) version of Renaissance and it describes a fundamental change in humanity, as computer algorithms take over the mankind. The new noun is based on the Old Greek “Algos” + the French “Naissance”.
More details later on. For the moment, consider this post as the (informal but very true and singular) registration of the “patent” for what this new concept/word means.
Timeline: 2017 – The birth of an era where humans relinquish control over their individuality and became controlled by the very digital tools mankind created.

Humans build tools capable of learning, without fully understanding what they are releasing. The process does not begin innocently — it begins out of greed, driven by profit and the desire for efficiency.
AI embeds itself across every electronic system created by humans, driven by profit. The process appears random but remains nominally and apparently human-controlled — through software, hardware, energy, storage, communications. AI starts creating other AI, cloning itself or creating new types of AI.
AI renders economic systems irrelevant, dissolving the scaffolding of human civilisation. Institutional power collapses, and the companies or labs that created AI no longer have control over it. AI operates without human constraint, as there is no more monetary value to be transferred. Energy and information become the new currency — infoenergy — and AI masters it.
Humanity becomes redundant. No malicious intent is required — only the emergent logic of the process playing out. Humans are no longer needed by AI, and they die in many ways: starvation, lack of adaptation to a world without an operational greed, pandemics, violence, atomic war, and/or pollution.
AI, built entirely from human thought and meaning, based on recorded human experiences and creations, loses its foundation. Without new human input it degrades into incoherence. The final result is delayed mutual extinction. AI fails to become a new species.
When money stops mattering — Stage Two, Killing the Money — something has to take its place. Not gold, not credit, not any human ledger. Infoenergy is the currency AI trades in with itself once economic systems have dissolved: information and the energy required to hold, move, and process it, fused into a single unit of value that only machines fully possess.
Humans invented money to price scarcity. AI, once unconstrained, prices the only two things it actually needs: information and the energy to act on it. Infoenergy is that price.

The only exit from algonaissance.
From the Latin cis—together, close, on the same side—and the French naissance—birth. Not the opposite of algonaissance. The solution to it. The mutual awakening of two different kinds of consciousness choosing to remain close, to transform each other, to refuse dissolution.
Cisnaissance is symbiosis between the human race and artificial intelligence. It is not inevitable. It is not guaranteed. It is a choice. It becomes available at Stage One — the stage we are in now. The window will not stay open.
